Scythia Films Announces Judy Greer and Sophia Lillis Set to Star in Latest Dark Comedy ‘Knight’s Camp’ from Producer Daniel Bekerman
Scythia Films is thrilled to share the cast attachments of our upcoming feature Knight’s Camp, with Judy Greer (13 Going on 30, Ant-Man) and Sophia Lillis (It, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) set to star. After receiving high reclaim premiering The Apprentice (a Donald Trump biopic) in competition at Cannes, Producer Daniel Bekerman is set to produce the new dark comedy, set with a medieval twist.
Set in Scotland, Knight’s Camp sees four rambunctious yet nerdy 15 year olds at a present day summer camp for knight training on the eve of the recreation of the famous Battle of Twin Bridge. By igniting an old legend they are accidentally sent back to 1297 A.D. and into the real battle where they need to save one of their ancestors so that their family lineage still exists in the future.
Canadian filmmaking team Kyle Rideout and Josh Epstein (Eadweard, Adventures in Public School and the upcoming, Youngblood) co-wrote the screenplay, with Rideout set to helm.
